    Few issues keep chief advancement officers awake at night more than staff retention. The revolving door of employees presents particular challenges given the long-term relationship-building that is a cornerstone of advancement success. It’s too easy to be reactive in addressing this problem – by the time a counter-offer is proffered; the employee already has one foot out the door. This session will focus on the organizational, cultural and leadership factors that provide long-term stability and effective teamwork in the advancement shop, including strong values and a commitment to diversity and fairness.
